Another exciting month of growth and hard work (as always) at Century which has been rewarded with happy customers, retained business and promotions within our team.

Here are some of the things what we got up to in May.

Protecting the next generation

At Century we’re thrilled to work with a number of schools across the Midlands and beyond to help them keep their students and staff safe. In May we were thrilled to learn that we would be continuing to support Ecclesbourne School in Derbyshire with regular service and maintenance on their automated gates and networked access control system. We were also happy to be able to showcase our work with John Gulson Primary School in Coventry, where we have provided access control, intruder alarm and fire safety. Read the case study here.

New service contracts

We’re thrilled to have secured new service and maintenance contracts with Biffa Waste in Alridge, for their fire detection system, and with Independent Vetcare in Lichfield, covering their integrated system across fire detection, access control, intruder alarms, CCTV and automatic gates.

Welcoming (more) new team members

Last month we took on 3 new additions to our engineering team, who are now settling in at Century and providing excellent service to our customers. In May we also brought in a new member of our sales team to help bring the right solutions to new and existing customers.

Celebrating long-serving team members

This month, our Operations Director Harriet Pearshouse celebrated 8 years with us, over which time her organisational skills and eye for detail has helped us run countless projects smoothly – read more here. Gavin Russell has been promoted into a new position as Commercial Manager, where he’ll oversee an expanding team of technical sales people.
